In short

envoryx.dev is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics and loads no fonts, scripts or content from third-party servers. Only the data that technically arises when a page is requested is processed.

Server log files

With every request the web server automatically stores what your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status code, the referrer URL and the browser identification (user agent). This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure and stable - for example to detect errors and attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the site.

The log files are not combined with other data and not analysed to identify visitors. They are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Hosting

The site runs on a server I rent from Kim Daniel Geisthardt Web Development (KDG-Server), Dörffelstraße 12, 08527 Plauen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, so data is processed in Germany. I have a data processing agreement with KDG-Server under Art. 28 GDPR.

Settings stored in your browser

The documentation remembers the colour scheme you pick (light, dark, system) in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your browser and is not sent to the server; you can delete it in your browser settings at any time.

The documentation search runs entirely in your browser; search terms are not transmitted.

Links to GitHub

The site links to GitHub (GitHub Inc., USA), where the source code, releases and images of Envoryx live. GitHub's privacy policy applies once you follow such a link. When you install Envoryx, Docker on your server downloads the image from the GitHub Container Registry (ghcr.io) - that happens on your server, not through this website.

Contact by email

If you email me, I process what you send to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal email to info@envoryx.dev is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one of Rhineland-Palatinate (LfDI Rheinland-Pfalz).
